Italy!

For the fourth year now I have had the privilege of participating in a world beach ultimate tournament called Paganello.  This year I put together a fabulous team, made of many that had never been to Italy… so we traveled a little beforehand. First we went to Rome and then to Florence. I have been to both cities in prior trips, so I figured I would have a little more fun with these photos and brought out the fisheye lens. I really enjoy the challenge of limiting my gear, or perhaps I am also lazy, but either way I had fun creating these images.  Only some of the team made it out for this part of the adventure, but we had a blast: throwing the disc everywhere (perhaps several of us might have gotten reprimanded for doing so at the Vatican), eating gelato multiple times a day, drinking wine, and learning about some really old things. Here are some highlights:

a perfect pair!

One of my best friends in the world, Emilee, and her close friend Lauren (see if you can find her in my blog!) started a wonderful event boutique called A Perfect Pair! They can manage your wedding (or any other event) details with ease and have you enjoying your special day worry-free. Check them out:

crossfit construct

I had a lot of fun helping out my friend Liz the other week. We got to snap some shots of Crossfit Construct down in the West Loop. Check out this cozy, friendly Crossfit gym:

Elena (babybird)

I literally just held this adorable newborn for five hours the other day. She is so cute! Although all she wants to do is eat & sleep, it is obvious that she is a well behaved kid. How could she not be with two of the most calm parents I know? Alia & Alex, I look forward to taking more photos of your delightful child.

Clarke

I had the pleasure of spending time with the Jackson family this past Saturday morning. We enjoyed the Fall air and then explored their lovely home. Clarke is very well behaved for a 9-month-old, although he likes to save his smiles for when the camera is not there.
