Just in time for the holidays, my friend Jessica asked me to photograph her family along with their friends. I joined them for a lovely breakfast before the kids opened their Christmas gifts. The time flew by as I joined in the fun these two families had together. I am happy to have created playful images from that morning, as well as document the adorable Jude as he is growing up!
It was so nice to see Jami, Robert & Nicholas again. A few weeks ago we took a lovely walk on a breezy day through Lincoln Park. Nicholas is now a little over one years old, so it was great to see how he’s grown and is now running around since the last time we met (which was also the first time). They are such a nice, fun family to spend time photographing.

I had the great opportunity to photograph headshots for L’Occitane this past week. Michele is both a trainer for the company as well as a spokesperson. She managed to effortlessly become comfortable in front of the camera as we walked around beautiful Lincoln Park. I think I am really growing to love taking headshots.

So I have some amazing friends that partake in an a capella group called Invox. I had the great fortune of capturing a few headshots and groups shots before their recent performance in Chicago. It was a quick shoot, but I had fun nonetheless. They are a talented group of singers, so you should check them out – not to mention that they are an incredibly fun group of individuals.

Rena had her Bat-Mitzvah rehearsal on August 26th in the lovely town of Evanston. I had the pleasure of snapping a few images of the charismatic Rena and her delightful family. The weather was nice, so after capturing some photographs indoors we escaped into the sunshine. Rena has an impressive character that I enjoy every moment of the photoshoot. Her family was incredibly friendly as well, which made working with them a pleasure.
