This Glacier National Park wedding was epic. Friends and family from all over the world came together to celebrate the wedding of Bree & Jake. People camped, stayed in cabins, brought their kids, brought their dogs… it was truly a wedding of the outdoor lifestyle. Loved it! We started the celebration at the local distillery, continued to have fun rafting down the river in 80s fashion, and enjoyed a delicious welcome dinner. The wedding itself was beautiful – full of carefully planned symbolic gestures and love. The rain knew that it was a special and mostly stayed away so that the outdoor ceremony and reception would be a complete success. Jake and Bree were gracious hosts to everyone, emphatically insisting that everyone have a great time.  I met Bree five years ago at a wedding in Cape Cod, and I am so grateful that she thought of me to be her wedding photographer. It was so meaningful to be there and be part of her incredibly thoughtfully planned wedding. This is only a glimpse of the gorgeousness of Montana and the fun that was had over a mere four days.

I knew Liz & Martin long before they knew one another or started dating… so it has been a pleasure to watch their relationship grow over time. And it was an honor that my two close friends asked me to document their wedding a couple of weeks ago. Despite the fact that some great people were at this celebration, Martin & Liz also had some spectacular speeches, food, dancing, and delicious home-brewed beer. Here are a few (personally biased) chosen photographs from the special evening:
