I have known the entire story of Laura & Ken, so it was awesome to see them so excited on their wedding day. It has been inspiring to watch the love between these two quietly funny people grow. I was truly honored when Laura asked me to shoot her wedding! And as is the case with many of those I am close to, I often can’t trim down my choices of photos that I want to include in the blog, so here is a slideshow:
Last time we photographed Evie, she was only a few months old and at home. This time we explored Lincoln Park! It was awesome to see Evie now as a small person – sitting, crawling, understanding words, teething… Plus, as always, a blast to see my friends Rebecca and Matt. Here is some adorable cuteness to behold:
Becky & Brendan are one of those couples that exemplify true love. They are one of those couples that are meant to be. It was just lovely to photograph them exchanging their vows and interacting with their super fun and loving family members and friends. Plus, they had great craft beer & pie! It was also nice to experience another wedding alongside my friends Rebecca & Matt (bridesmaid and officiant extraordinaire).
This super fun couple had a guerrilla wedding! Friends and family gathered by “The Bean” and anxiously awaited the ceremony. After Beth & Scott tied the knot, we explored gorgeous millennium park to capture a few moments before their Terzo Piano brunch. I am so glad that this couple asked me to shoot their wedding. Beth & Scott were a pleasure to spend time with, in addition to looking fantastic. They made taking beautiful images a piece of cake!
