What a great Autumn day we found to do some engagement shots! It was really fun to get to know Ronnie and Manley, as he is also known, better with our time spent together a few weeks ago. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding this coming June. This couple really makes taking great photographs easy!
A few weeks ago I had a ton of fun creating some portraits for Emily. Her outdoor patio provided for a great space to capture her beauty while she could be comfortable – plus we could take some “family photos” with her roommates.
One of my favorite families to photograph added a new member to their clan! It was a ton of fun to meet Cece and catch up with Nick and his parents. I love watching this family grow! And we couldn’t have had a more perfect Autumn day by the Lily Pool in Lincoln Park. This is one great group to photograph.
I don’t even know where to begin. Andrew, also known as Wassef, was one of the first good friends that I made when I moved to Chicago seven years ago, as well as my first true Ultimate friend. Several years ago he introduced me to Libby, and I knew right away that they were destined to be married. This fabulous couple had a great wedding, surrounding themselves with some amazing people who were ecstatic to celebrate their love. I always knew that both Andrew and Libby were caring, generous people, but that was more than evident throughout their wedding weekend with the graciousness they showed their friends and family. Congrats to the happy couple – what a beautiful wedding!

I really enjoy when my interests overlap – this time it was athletics & photography. A couple of weeks ago I met the lovely owners of the booming business: Barre Bee Fit. Their gym programs cater to women and are spreading like wildfire! I captured some images of them demonstrating a few exercises for the publication Prevention.
