A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph the Chicago Gourmet for a local PR firm- an impressive event where chefs, restaurants and vendors from (mostly) near & far get to showcase their work… and the guests get to indulge.  I also had the privilege of taking images of the Grand Cru event where I ran into my friend and sommelier extraordinaire Rachel Driver Speckan.  What a tasty event!

I had a fabulous time in my home city photographing two awesome friends of mine a few weeks ago. Despite some rain, this couple and their friends enjoyed a great party.  It is no secret that this couple is a perfect match and know how to have fun with the lovely people they choose to have around them.  In addition to the celebratory partying, I had the honor of capturing some of their more personal moments at their rooftop ceremony and a tea ceremony in the privacy of their closest family members.  This was a memorable and beautiful wedding of two people that I definitely wish I could see more often!

This Glacier National Park wedding was epic. Friends and family from all over the world came together to celebrate the wedding of Bree & Jake. People camped, stayed in cabins, brought their kids, brought their dogs… it was truly a wedding of the outdoor lifestyle. Loved it! We started the celebration at the local distillery, continued to have fun rafting down the river in 80s fashion, and enjoyed a delicious welcome dinner. The wedding itself was beautiful – full of carefully planned symbolic gestures and love. The rain knew that it was a special and mostly stayed away so that the outdoor ceremony and reception would be a complete success. Jake and Bree were gracious hosts to everyone, emphatically insisting that everyone have a great time.  I met Bree five years ago at a wedding in Cape Cod, and I am so grateful that she thought of me to be her wedding photographer. It was so meaningful to be there and be part of her incredibly thoughtfully planned wedding. This is only a glimpse of the gorgeousness of Montana and the fun that was had over a mere four days.
